Parnon Mountain

July 2, 2011

During this astroparty, organized by Sparta Astronomical Association (http://www.spartastronomy.gr/), I had the chance to operate for the first time my new equatorial mount Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro Synscan. Unfortunately heavy dew problems over the night did not make it possible to occupy myself with piggyback astrophotography as I had already planned to do so. Next time I have to use a dew heater ;-)

The beauty of the Parnon Mountain is not only its night sky but also the mountain itself. I would like to share with you some daylight images that I took. Enjoy!!!
