In 6 cm this cluster is nearly indistinguishable from the Milky Way. Nine bright stars trail southward from orangish 27 Cygni. 25 cm shows a brilliant field at 50x. At 100x many close, colorful multiple stars are visible. 30 cm shows roughly 80 stars in a 25' field, with dark areas visible to the E and W.
